1. General

  1. The Operator of the Website: www.doublecheck.pl, Double Check Sp. z o.o., seated at ul. Stanislawa Moniuszki 1A, 00-014 Warszawa.
  2. The Website collects information on users and their behaviours provided in:
    1. data – voluntarily provided by the user in the contact form
    2. cookies stored on a device of the user
    3. server logs gathered by home.pl – hosting provider.

2. Information provided in the contact form

  1. The Website collects information provided voluntarily by the user.
  2. Moreover, the Website may store information about the connection parameters (time, IP address).
  3. Information provided in the contact form shall not be made available to third parties without the user’s consent.
  4. Information provided in the contact form may constitute a list of possible clients, registered by the Operator with the register kept by the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data.
  5. Information provided in the contact form shall be processed to meet its purpose, e.g. to process a service request or contact the Operator.
  6. Information provided in the contact form may be provided to entities responsible for performing specific services; in particular, this relates to the provision of information on the domain name owner to entities that are the domain name operators (particularly to Naukowa i Akademicka Sieć Komputerowa), websites processing payments, and other entities collaborating with the Operator for this purpose.

3. Cookies

  1. The Website uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are pieces of data; in particular, they are text files stored on the device of the Website’s user and designed for use of the Website’s pages. Typically, cookies contain a website name, information about a period in which they are stored on the user’s device, and a unique user ID.
  3. The entity that places cookies on a device of the Website’s user and gains access to these files is the Operator.
  4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    1. to compile statistics which help to understand the way the Website’s user uses websites in order to improve their structure and content
    2. to continue a session of the Website’s user (after logging in) and thus making it possible for the user to use the Website without the need to re-enter his login and password on each page
    3. to build up the user’s profile to deliver targeted advertisements in advertising networks, particularly in the Google network.

Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the user’s device until the user logs out, leaves the website or disables the software (closes a web browser).   8. Cookies are stored on a device of the Website’s user and may also be used by partners and advertising companies collaborating with the Operator.

  10. Cookies may be used by advertising networks, in particular by the Google network, to display advertisements tailored to the way the user uses the Website. To this end, they may store information about the user’s navigation path or the time spent on a given website.

4. Server logs

  1. Information about certain habits of users is logged onto the server. Such data are used only to manage the Website and to ensure as best hosting services support as possible.
  2. Resources being browsed are identified by URL addresses. In addition, the following information may be stored:
    1. time of a request
    2. time of a response
    3. name of the client’s station – identification by HTTP
    4. information about any errors which may have occurred during the HTTP transaction
    5. URL address of the website which was previously visited by the user (referrer link) – if the user accessed the Website using a link
    6. information about the user’s web browser
    7. user’s IP address.
  3. The above data are not associated with any specific person displaying the Website and
  4. they are used solely to manage it.

5. Availability of data

  1. Data shall be made available to third parties only to the extent permissible by law.
  2. Data which can be used to identify a natural person shall be made available only with the consent of the person concerned.
  3. The Operator may be obliged to provide information collected by the Website to relevant authorities pursuant to the applicable legislation.

6. Managing cookies. How to express and withdraw your consent?

  1. If the user does not want to receive cookies, he may change the browser’s settings. Please note that disabling cookies required for the purposes of authentication, security or storing the user’s preferences may make it difficult or even impossible to use websites.
